Which usually means I go walking to the stores downtown.....There are a couple Antiques Stores worth a walk through....even if they are 3+ blocks away from my house....
First store has three floors, and a basement.....While walkng around on the ground floor, came upon this..thing
377625
Vise is a Richards & Wilcox? There is even a "Stop" on this $225 bench...
377626
Walked a little further along, towards this cabinet...
377627
All kinds of goodies, here....That #80?
377628$58?
The #81 was a bit better..
377629
And a tad cheaper..$38 But the other plane on this shelf?
377630
Well, IF you had seen the price tag..your camera would have been shaking, too...$200?
Rest of the stuff was a little easier on the wallet.....maybe
Walked down to the basement, first thing I noticed was a "grinder"
377631
A foot powered one, at that....walked a bit, saw a different sort of Brace..
377632
Has a Stove bolt holding the chuck in place?
Walked to the other end of the basement...
But, that will be in part 2...stay tuned...

Part 2..
Other end of the basement had a table set up..
377633
Not much to write home about...$22 for the woodie..there was a pair of these things, as well.
377634
The Bailey version was sitting on the floor. Ok, on to the other store...it had a sign I liked...
377635
"Junk Rescue" There was a larger stall down there..

That you had to be careful when you turned around...
377640
You might just miss something...
One more little bit coming up..

You might just miss these things sitting around.

Sooo, who ya gonna call?
377642
I didn't spend a penny all day, more of window shopping. I am sure I missed a few items with the camera...

Maybe next warm and sunny day, I might have a bit of cash in me pockets.....maybe they will have something new...

Just a walk-about...

Steve, can't believe you didn't snap up that 1930s era bed pan. Talk about an old tool....

BTW, $200 for a #72 with good wood is not a bad price at all.
