Mother nature has managed to give us another beautiful fall here in N.E. Arkansas. It won't last long because we are so dry and hot.

I love the changes in the seasons as we head from one into the other. It is supposed to begin to get colder here soon. Today we were at 82 degrees.

Hey, Jim, that really is pretty. Maple trees? Hot, yeah, we were around 85 or so today, but very few trees with color. Some green, a very few yellow, the rest brown. Jim.

Nice pictures Jim. We're looking at a high of 46 today with some color still left on the trees. I don't expect it to last much longer with all the wind we're expecting today. Ol' Man Winter is on the way.;)

The reds are dogwoods and oaks, the yellows are mostly hickory and some gums. The red-est one in the first pic is a dogwood. I lost a lot of them this year due to the dry weather and the bugs and the fact that I have just cleared the place about 3 years ago. Dogwoods don't like to have their cover taken away.
