This is a Natural Edge Ash Burl bowl 12” in diameter,got one core out of it . Finish is Minwax Antique Oil about 10 wipe on wipe off coats. Then buffed. Comments welcome.

Wow! That's really pretty. I love the contrast between the bark and grain. And the grain itself is just stunning!

First white ash burl I've ever seen. How rare are they? You did a wonderful job on that, anyone would be pleased to own that!

One of the prettiest natural contrasts in color I've seen. At first glance I thought the wood was bleached. Nice find.

Nice work, love all the irregularness( is that a word) in the rim, and as said great job keeping that bark on. The grain in the Ash is spectacular.

Nice! From the still photo it looks like the chatoyance might be incredible when held in the hand. Is it?
