Well folks it's about time for me to start thinking about setting a date for the BBq. As usual I'm trying to schedule around football as much as I can. This is Payton's senior year and I don't want to miss if I can help it.

The best dates for me are Sept. 5,6, and 7. This is a bit earlier than normal but really is the best time for us. The other choice is Oct. 24,25 and 26. It's a home game against a traditionally weak team.

Friday nite is really a fun time. Meet and greet, basically just hang out and get aquainted with the new folks and poke fun at the old folks. It's something I hate to miss. No telling what Ken might do in my absence. :D Hamburgers and hot dogs will be the supper treat. I am also trying to arrange a tour of my lumber supplier for the afternoon.

Saturday will begin with the traditional breakfast at Susan's and the rest will be filled with turning and show and tell and of course our special brisket for lunch/supper, several demos and such and the usual flea market field trip for the ladies.

Sunday is wind down day. Some will already be gone, but the rest can just show up whenever for a very informal get together.

Please check your calenders and let me know if anyone has a preference or a major conflict with either of these weekends. I will have arrangements made with a local motel for those who need it. I will post more info. as we get closer to time.

Thanks,

Terry and the Arkie Creekers

If anyone is interested in seeing the Leigh FMT jig at work, just ask.
I'll throw it in. I mean... NOT with the door prizes!

I think a couple of "tough" women can handle Ken just fine! Anyone want to bring one?

David

October is out for me Terry. I have committed to participating in the Woodworks 2003 show that weekend.

That would be a good time to schedule the event since if I can't make it, it should increase the attendance 3 fold :p.

I will send my look-a-like instead: <p align="center">

Terry,

At this point, either weekend is fine with me. Let me know what I can do to help.

Sounds like Rose is getting awfully paranoid about someone getting off with that FMT thing of his. What you wanna bet he shows up with it handcuffed to his wrist? :D

Looking forward to the BBQ.

Ken and everyone,

Sept. 5,6 and 7 are really the best dates for us so if no one has any objections we will "make it so" as they say.

Updates to come.....

Thanks,

Terry

So that means we still need a couple of tough women and a set of handcuffs?

I think Ken and Bob lead to all this, not me!

Terry, you better be careful who you invite.

I just wanted you to know I'm following this thread with interest & enthusiasm..................Zack,

Was it the tough women and handcuffs that caused all this enthusiasm and interest??? :D

Seriously, It should be a great time. Last year was a bunch of fun for all and I expect this year to be even bigger and better.

Now, get off the computer and get back to class.

Doc Zack,

Great about you hoping to come!

I am following this thread with fear and trembling. Remember that it was brought to you by the one and only drawer finish tester who uses panty hose (until LOML frees me up a pair)... BOB LASLEY!!!! :D After this thread, LOML will probably strangle me with a pair. :(
