Looking on Amazon tonight and saw Dewalt routers were 50+% off !!! So if you're in the market.

Excellent tip Keith!! At 50% of the DW618 and 625 should make some folks happy I would have loved a 50% off sale on both of mine a couple months ago. That would have been a 150.00 savings or so, prolly would of bought that Bosch Colt then or possibly a second DW618 :)

Another price alert. I was in the Lowes in Port Huron, MI today, and they had the Dewalt XRP 4 tool package on for $227. Drill, sawzall, circular saw, flashlight, 2 batteries and charger. Regular price appeared to be $599. Visa trigger finger was twitchy, but I kept it under control.

Thanks Keith but, I just looked this morning (7:00 CDT) and it looks like their "normal" pricing. Nothing too special today.:( Still, appreciate the heads up and keep 'em coming! :) :cool:

That's a great deal. I wonder if they're going to be announcing a new model or something. What would spark such a price cut?

Yeah...Like I said; Looks like their "normal" pricing. Pretty typical across a lot of the vendors, though I think this one still qualifies for their "free shipping", which is a plus.:) :cool:

Yeah, I whipped into the Orange Box yesterday to see if they had any deals on the DeWalt mitre/sliding mitre saws, but I guess I missed out, as they had a large supply of the new models, but all the old models were gone. As an afterthought, I stopped in at Sears this afternoon, and the 708 Slider was already gone from the closeout shelf, but they had ONE 12" Single Bevel mitre left at $179.95, and the new models were already Gracing the shelves. Guess I was out of town when all the Good deals were put on the closeout shelves,:( just my luck.:rolleyes:
