Irion in PA? ... truth be told there are dozens of good sawmills across the country that do this ... but few show what they have on-line.

I've had good luck with http://www.curlymaplewood.com
The owner Kevin is easy to work with. He has focused more on instrument grade curly maple the last few years. Keeps his website updated and you can sign-up for monthly emails.

Have also had very good success here. I'm in CT, shipping was very reasonable and product was excellent.

The best place I have found is northwest timber. Super crazy figure but you will pay for it. https://www.nwtimber.com/

I've ordered several times from Mike at Curlymaple.com, and have been very pleased with the product and service. If you can't tell from his web site which pieces will work for you, call him and he will review his inventory and make suggestions. I did that last go round and it worked out great. Try Bob Kloes. bobkloes.com He doesn't have inventory online, but has some beautiful stuff. Give him a call and tell him what you want and he will email you pictures. Really nice guy to deal with, and has a great selection of lumber.

I highly recommend Bob too. I made several purchases including hard curly Maple and it was all really nice material. A little expensive to ship to Northern California, but that’s the freight cost, not Bob.
