I had this section of dead Pine on a faceplate for about 2 years with too much other more desirable work out there. Came time to clean up some shop clutter and this Trash Bin came out in the cold shop yesterday. It is 10.5"D x 9.5"H with about 1/4" wall. I hollowed it out using Don Pencil elbow hollowing system and then turned off the tenon using Don Pencil jam system shown. I do miss Don as a source for faceplates and buffing supplies. The pine really soaked up the Danish Oil homebrew blend today. Shop is still cold but looks like warmer temps are coming.
