It's been awhile since I posted anything here, so I figured I'd post a picture of one of bowls I've turned recently. It's a Red Mallee Burl natural edge, it measures 7-1/4"x 3-1/4" at it's tallest point with a wall thickness of 1/4", I finished it with laquer and buffed with the beale buffs. Also I just ordered a Oneway 2436 with 3hp. My Craftsman is slowly falling apart almost every weekend I have to tear it down to repair something. When my Oneway comes in a couple of months I'll post some pictures. This is still my favorite forum I love to see pictures of what people are turning.

Great Bowl Frank! Maybe you should fly in more often! I was going to pick up some of that Red Mallee last week and didn't make it to the store....sheesh...so little time!

Stunning bowl. And, wow, moving from a craftsman to a 2436! You will be in heaven.

It got abit scary turning it, several times I had to stop and check my hands to see if they were bleeding. This piece of wood was extremly hard it surprised me sparks weren't flying off I had to sharpen my gouge alot. I've got another bowl I find neat I'll start a new post with pictures of it.
