These instructions should work for now, until Flickr changes its format again.

1. Log into your Flickr account and select the image you want to share. Find the sharing icon in the lower right corner of the image and click on it.

2. You will see the new window for grabbing the code. Select BBCode first and click on the down arrow to display the pull-down menu showing size options.

3. Select the size from the options.

4. Copy the entire text in the BBCode window.

5. Paste the code in the post window. Do not use the IMG tags, as these are already in the BBCode string. This is what the pasted string should look like in the body of the post:

6. Repeat this process for all of the images you want to post.

Log in without the "https://" URL. There is an issue with some browsers and the SSL version of SMC.

See this thread (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?259465-Posts-being-deleted-amp-formatting) for more information.

It also helps to switch to the standard editor in your settings.

Please note that SMC "prefers" that photos in threads be uploaded to SMC so they stay with the threads. A huge value proposition of this forum is that we do not delete content over time and provide the space to include everything on the servers so that the knowledgebase lives on for the benefit of others in the future. This is unlike most forums which require linking so they don't need to spend the money for storage and bandwidth to serve the images. For awhile, I personally "broke" that idea for my own postings and when the Photobucket debacle happened earlier this year, a great number of photos were essentially lost. Going back and editing all those threads would have been an arduous process. (and as a moderator, I could actually do that, unlike regular community members) The only time I link from outside now, is for "incidental" things that don't have long-term value, such as funny things unrelated to projects, etc. Please note that uploading to SMC isn't "required"...you have the option to embed images in your post any way you prefer that's permitted by the system, but again, the "preference" is to host them here.
