I hate to break it to you but your design isn’t quite right, you don’t have an option for 31 days unless the month starts on a Thursday. This month, for example, starts on Friday and the 31st is on a Monday, yet your calendar ends on the 30th. I’m all for having New Years Eve a day early, but I’m thinking most people won’t go for that.

Nope, Dec 1 this year was a Friday and Dec 31 will be a Sunday. Your layout only allows a month to spread over 5 weeks, but you need to allow for a 6th week (such as for Dec 2017). Any month having 31 days that starts on a Friday or Saturday will spread across 6 calendar weeks, likewise for any month having 30 days that starts on a Saturday.
