My new No51 just arrived yesterday. Beautiful save a chip on the handle. A two minute call to LN and a replacement is on the way. I’ve got quite a few of their tools but this is the first one to arrive in its own crate. I’ll also admit to being quite taken by the video of its production available on YouTube. A very good experience overall so far and I haven’t even shaved a board as yet!

Great post Mike. You made the right call first too. If you have a problem with LN or with LV either one make that your first call. Both of them are more then willing to help their customers. That has been my experience anyway. Even if you think you may be asking a dumb question you will not be treated with any disrespect.
