What are these?

My Father-in-law picked this set up at the auction this morning, but we don't know what they are. It is a set of curved metal bars that are convex on one side and slightly concave on the other. The surfaces are smooth, and they have tangs on one end to be handled. There was what appears to be a triangular burnisher in the set, so I'm wondering if these are some sort of scrapers.

Who knows what they are?
