Where I work has an organization called Operation Good Cheer where they raise money each year to provide quite a number of local underprivledged children an awesome christmas. They had a craft auction this week and I donated several pieces of work, a bandsaw box and 6 pens. Here are the pics from the auction... all items sold and combined raised nearly $500 for the cause... (sorry if the pics are too big)

Jim -

Very nice work and the money is going to a good cause. Looks like the people making the purchases appreciated the fine workmanship.

Nice job, Jim, and it sounds like your stuff pulled in some good bucks. What woods did you use for the bandsaw box?

Vaughn,

The box is American black walnut with heart and sapwood mixed. I used a light red-mahagony stain before finishing to give it a redish tone. The pulls are Maple and the base is black walnut burl.

Thanks for the complements everyone!
