Here's my platter for the day.

Cherry, about 9.5" in diameter. Has three rubs with tung oil followed by the beall to endall buffing routine.

To be honest, this was not conceived as a platter for edibles. In my head was something for the dresser in your bedroom or on a shelf in the front hall as a place to empty your pockets into at the end of the day.

Comments?

Andy, if I turned something that nice to put pocket stuff in, I would never find the stuff. Gerri is a clean fanatic, and would never allow that. She would say, "That's too beautiful to cover up.
Very nice, Bill.>>>>>>>>>:)

Thanks all for your comments.

I'd actually made two of these and one of them sold this afternoon off my website. Only $54,883.65 to go before I break even.:D
