I'm looking at this Vintage Tablesaw its very well built much nicer then the one I have now.
I don't have a pic of the whole saw yet.
But here's the makers badge what do you think is it Chineese or Japanese?

Thanks for the reply Bill.
Its looking like I won't be owning a Vinatge Table saw from Japan.
The motor is 480 3ph.
But here's more pics of the front and sides.

Interesting saw. Looks beefy. I don't see any tilt feature.

Same question ... tilt. I always look to see if there are any other front tilt machines like the Greenlee, Wadkin or Robinson. Could it be foot adjust?

I'm curious about the two pedals. It looks like a serious tablesaw.

No tilt it's just a ripper and cross cut it had both miter gages. One pedal is to lock the blade the other is a blade break.Very simalar to a bandsaw just rubs on over sized arbor shaft.
It also has a high and low speed pulleys on the motor.

We see little Japanese machinery here but they made some great woodworking machinery. The lack of tilt is a bigger deal than the voltage. Transformers are cheap. Dave

Probably easy enough to switch out the motor for a voltage you like. May need to switch jumpers on the control transformer. It is probably a European standard motor size? I do not think Japan has their own motor standards.
