I think a shop dog is a valuable asset to have, not only for companionship but to keep away the theives who might want to steal my tools and wood. So I think my next shop dog is going to be a breed like this one. Isn't she just a darling, and I'll bet guaranteed to keep away those thieves!

I have heard ..."after awhile owners and their dogs start to look alike.":eek:

I saw Sam on one of the late-night TV shows a while back, and the photos simply don't do the dog justice. Sam is blind, deaf, tumor-ridden and has a nasty disposition, which his owner thinks is "cute". It seems to me that the dog's quality of life is secondary to the owner's 15 minutes of fame. I'm a dog lover for sure, but it seems to me there are appropriate times to throw in the towel and get another dog.
