A question for interior decorators:
If a "rod pocket" curtain with the pocket at the very top is used over a typical rod pocket sheer curtain of the same nominal length, the sheer curtain isn't completely covered up because the ruffles of the sheer curtain extend beyond the nominal length of the sheer curtain. Is there some convention about how to mount two such curtains? - let the ruffles of the sheer curtain show at the top? - hide the ruffles and let the bottom of the sheer curtain show ? - or hide the top of both curtains with a pelmet or valance?
