I have been quite busy making magnetised needle cases for members of the local embroidery club.
They have a 6mm x 3mm rare earth magnet in the base cap and are very useful for picking up dropped pins or needles.
Of course they can be used for other purposes, e.g. small pills or toothpicks or other small objects.
I secure the magnet by dropping in a small amount of hot melt glue.
