There was a poll about fixing boo-boo's here (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?258751-Oops!-Handling-Mistakes). I had a recent boo-boo to fix on a small project for the home but, didn't want to thread-jack. I botched a sliding dovetail cut. Just like repairing a botched tenon I glued thin strips to the side of the fouled piece.

Recut the joint to fit.

This is a quick project for LOML so she can organize all that stuff that sets out on the Master Bath sink top. I grabbed some scrap . . . er . .. I mean some choice material that I happened to have on hand. I made two shelves with sliding dovetails and sides shaped to her specifications.

A bit of rattle-can lacquer and she's all set.
