Gotta do sumthin' with all this stinkin' wood... ;)
Just a plain bowl, but every piece of wood I turn just seems to really impress me. God is SPECTACULAR in creation! Just like a fingerprint, the grain in a piece of wood is always unique.
9" wide, 3-3/4" tall, tapers from 1/4" at the rim to probably 3/8" at the bottom (I did that on purpose ;) )

Nature makes it easy to have something beautiful, doesn't it?
You did a great job of bringing it out.
Thanks, Bruce

Another beautiful bowl Mark! You obviously aren't having any problem with movement. Mine seem to turn into a football shape when I turn them with the grain running that direction. How do you avoid that with your work?

John, this bowl has been sitting "nearly finished" since I started construction on my shop back a few months ago. It had moved quite a bit out of round. So maybe it has stabilized. The only other BW bowl I have done near this size is like you say - football shaped...

Man I love Walnut, everything always looks good. The pic makes it look much taller than 3 3/4", nice job.

'Nothin wrong with that bowl, Mark. It looks great now and will still look great when the walnut gets that golden glow over time. Nice job!

Great job Mark. I really like the subtle foot and I totally like the fact that the curve is consistent top to bottom.

Hay Mark, if all that wall-nut is stinking up your place to much, you can send it to my shop.
A wonderful looking bowl on my end.
Great work, Bill.>>>>>>>>>:)
