Looking to purchase a medium duty (<2500 psi) pressure washer.
Prefer a gas engine.
To be used around the farm.
Good quality.
Tell me what I NEED.

Timing is everything. I to am thinking about a medium duty pressure washer, one that does both hot or cold water. I know electric is less expensive but gas is probably more flexible in where it can be used.

I have one with a Simpson pump on it that I bought from Glidden back in 1990 that still is going strong. I used it for washing side walks for Revco and CVS for 20 years. now I use it to clean the mowers and tractors.

I used to have a John Deere made by Mi-T-M in the US. Mine had the Subaru engine which my dealer preferred to the Honda. Parts are readily available if needed and the pumps are rebuildable (vs replaceable) if needed with a good dealer network. Price was cheaper than Norther Tool once you figure in shipping.

Made the mistake of selling it when we moved and after 2 years I ended up getting something from Lowes which is OK but if something fails it’s petty much throw-away.

Get one where the pump has an oil reservoir.
