When we built the house, we made a place especially for a large dresser in a walkway to the den and in front of the closet. During the bedroom remodel, LOML declared the dresser must go, and directed me to make a 'built in'. So here are fuzzy pics of the dresser, sans top. I wanted to get it in place so I could make sure the top fit in the corner. Essentially three plywood base cabinets with drawers, and baseboard around it like the rest of the room. Had I known what a pain it would be, I woulda just built a 'real' dresser. But she's happy. Knobs are different on top drawers because I drilled those 4" on center before I realized the pulls she wanted were 3".

Above this, I put two cabeinets with shelves in between. I intended to put a mirror below the shelves, but I've been told no...I need to make another shelf. I used the pine beadboard on the exposed sides to tie in to the beadboard ceiling. And for anybody putting up any crown molding anytime soon, I HIGHLY recommend those block thingies that eliminate miter cuts. :)

Just wanted folks to know I wasn't goofing off.... :D
