I am looking at the Vega and would like opinions from anyone who has or used one. I don't find much info out there other than spec info from their website. I am a hobbyist.

It needs to be mobile in my shop - anyone made theirs mobile?

Any other models I should consider in this range?

Thanks.

I own it. Its so awesome, by far the best oes under $2k. I made mine mobile with the large shop fox base. You wont find a graphite coated steel i-beam on most any other models in this price range. I want to get a back table and the rear platen and the end table. Its amazing.

Thanks Mike. Do you mind taking some pics and sending to me - pm if you prefer. I'm also interested in knowing to what extent you can move, fold down or otherwise reduce the depth of the footprint since I have to deal with space issues. Thanks.

What is it? I assume a dust collector arm or a fence?

Personally, I prefer the Enterprise NCC-1701.

They made about every tool in a ww shop. Euro slider style saw, awesome planer moulder, i still want one of their miter gauges and fences. I really like the machines I saw.
