I just got a WEN 13" planer, and the height adjustment mechanism is very stiff/tight. Is this normal for these types of planers, or is there maybe something I can adjust to loosen it up a bit? I'd hate to put undue stress on these plastic bevel gears. The first couple boards I ran through it came out beautfully smooth, though!
