Cleaned up the cap iron...or is it a chipbreaker? Not a whole lot of parts to rehab..wasn't any rust, either:D
Put this all back together, trying NOT to cut any fingers on the iron's bevels...

Tried a few passes along the edge of a scrap board....this plane will also cut as a scraper..
