:o When I was in Acadia on vacation this past summer I picked up a bit of driftwood on the Great Head Trail. It is some kind of pine. After some thin planing and careful measuring I glued and pegged the box together. I painted the humpback whale on the top with Liquitex acrylic paint and topcoated it with spar varnish. The hardware is brass.:) It is 9 inches long.
