Went to the family Doctor Saturday. I started going to her when I was a teenager. I'm now just south of 50. She said she was retiring by years end. She was the kind of Doctor I could just walk in and see her. Call for an appointment at 9am Saturday, be in her office by 10:30
Called another Dr. office recommended to me. Asked if they accepted new patients. They said sure. When can I get an appointment? Next available is December:eek:
Went to an appointment with a specialist Wednesday. Turned out he had a sudden illness and retired effective immediately. :(
Have had the same insurance agent for years. Rates skyrocket for no reason. Wednesday had to shop for a new insurance co. Found out I was overpaying at my old insurance to the tune of over $1,000 year.
My HVAC guy, who was self employed, started servicing our furnace and air conditioner right around 1980. I could call and get anything fixed within 2 to 4 hours. Never had to go get parts. He had anything he needed on his pickup truck (Not a van like most places today)
I got to thinking he was always here by now for a fall tuneup. I called today and one of the big name HVAC co. answered. Said my guy retired and moved to Florida:eek: I asked about what they charged. Double what I was paying.
Surprised Sawmillcreek was up and running today with my luck.
