Trying to clamp these corner braces for my table while doing the glue-up. I was able to push everything together without glue, but now once I add glue to the mix, I'm unable to do it by hand. But because it's weird angles, I'm really struggling to get the right angle to pull them together AND towards the corner. I tried attaching wooden boards to the sides and trying to clamp those together across the joint (parallel to the brace) but that didn't really work and just caused them to arc towards the top and they were no longer square.

Looking to see if anyone has any ideas. I glued one corner and couldn't get the gap to close, which seems to make the joint a lot weaker since it's solely the dominos not the mating surface.

Your idea off attaching boards to the outside should work. The face surface where the clamp jaws sit, though, need to be perpendicular to your brace. That way the clamp will pull you joint straight together.

I dont have have a picture handy of the attachment board. It you need more clarification let me know and I can find a pic or a diagram.

Glen, thanks for those pictures. I love your F-clamp pad protectors. You have such nice jigs.

Thanks everyone, experimented some more last night/this morning and came up with the solution below. Definitely need to make some the ones you have Glenn.
