Was about to pull the trigger yesterday on the right-hand blade Dewalt 60V circular saw and saw this on Instagram. Anybody get their hands on this yet? I guess it releases here in the states on Monday. Wondering if it’s worth the extra hundred dollars and missing out on the free extra tool thats being offered right now on the current 60V saw. More info on the DeWalt website ("http://www.dewalt.com/en-us/products/power-tools/saws/circular-saws/flexvolt-60v-max-714-in-cordless-worm-drive-style-saw-90ah-battery/dcs577x1")

Wow. 60v? I havent seen those. That's some tool! If I was a Pro and needed the oomph, it would probably be well worth it - especially if I already owned other compatible Dewalt tools.

While I was looking at the saw, I checked the price of an extra battery. Looks like Toolbarn sells a two pack of 9AH batteries for $279 and a two pack 6 AH's for $200. So replacement looks manageable.

Be interested to hear how you like it if you buy one.

So more on these is starting to leak out. I believe I may spend the extra $100 for the worm-drive style. Take a look at these videos:
