I need to order a roll of 3" paper for my drum sander and have not tried the alumina zirconia paper. Does it perform better than the aluminum oxide-- worth the extra cost?? Thanks

I've only tried it in 80 grit, but yes, it seems to last forever. Don't know that I'd use it for the finer grits, as I usually only use those for a few light passes each, working through the grits to 220. But for the heavier stock removal it definitely outlasts the regular stuff.
