Many products out there, most using accelerant, a few not.

So rather than hit or miss, anyone recommend certain brand / product ?

I am assuming thick gel for this end grain use ? Yes ?

Again, this is just for temporary clamping, but it needs to be strong enough to move around the shop for 2.5' x 6' large frames from 1x4 Pine (SYP) stock, laid flat on worktable.

Need to make quantity 25 frames.

Plain mitrecut butt end grain only joints.

Will spline reinforce AFTER assembly w triangle BBirch splines w yellow glue.

But the CA needs to be strong enough for me to carry this LARGE frame around the shop a bit and run in tablesaw jig w/o a joint failing.

Like this general concept and orientation, but more robust jig w Destaco's - https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nLS4yjh77Xo/Vz8FaUZ4HjI/AAAAAAAADho/nxiF8xhI1_4np49T5iir8q5qPGHqG--XACLcB/s1600/Spline_jig_1a.jpg

I need about 10 seconds working time, then "set" within 1 minute held in a "lining up" jig by hand.. then willing to rest 30 minutes before I disturb and move on to next of the 4 corners..not gonna use clamps if it sets quick enough.

So, what specific product that's tried and true, and any other suggestions if you like.

And ya, I do want to do it this way, w the tablesaw jig and all, Not internal biscuits, the spline is also decorative in this case.

Thank you, Marc

https://www.sawmillcreek.org/clientscript/ckeditor/images/spacer.gif?t=B8DJ5M3 On one section that wrapped around a corner, 7 feet by 7 feet (outside corner), I glued up the two pieces before putting them up. I had this 7x7 &quot;L&quot; of crown sitting on the counter. I also had my 23 ga pinner on the same counter. The other installer caught the air hose with his foot. The glued-up piece crashed to the tiled floor, but the corner held perfect. Truly strong bond in seconds. </p>

I've had good luck with Nexabond, which apparently was sold and is now available as Dap Rapid Fuse for Wood. I keep my Nexabond in the freezer between uses and so far it has lasted about 2.5 years (got a couple of large bottles for free at a FWW Live) .

I used to build scale models and have used many brands of super glues, including many boutique brands. The best I've ever used is Loctite Professional, not to be confused with Loctite regular super glue. It works just you think a super glue should and doesn't clog the tip. The worst I've used is Bob Smith (BSI).
