Post Oak?

Had to take a tree out to pour a driveway at work. I had the tree guy save me a couple of trunk logs. I had no idea it would look anything like this.

My brother-in-law is a big TCU fan so he loves all things purple, so I'll toss it his way for a beer ;)

Listen, Im not clear - did you dye that bowl are are you saying that color is natural?

Thanks Fred. I dyed it with Pinata "passion purple" ink diluted about 15:1 with denatured alcohol. I was referring to the figuring in the wood. Wasn't expecting post oak to look like that.
