Looking for some help trying to track down the manufacturer of a table saw.

Photos are attached.

The name plane in front simply says "10' TABLE SAW".
The slots for model, serial, and date of manufacture are all empty.

Motor is Westinghouse (I believe).....could be a replacement.

Thanks in advance.

Looks like an Asian knock off of the Rockwell/Delta contractor saw from 1970-1980.

I agree with Ralph. The color looks like what Harbor Freight used in ancient times.

Have you tried a search for the model number that's embossed on the plate ?

whats the build date ?

any clues on the motor rating plate ?

Sorry.
I did not make it clear enough, and you cannot see it in the photos.............

The plate on the same is labeled for model, serial, date, etc.............but all the spaces are empty.
The motor rating plate is also gone..........all that was left was instructions on how to step-down from 240 to 115v, and change the rotation (clockwise, counter-clockwise).

All that was perfectly clear in the first place for anyone who bothered to read.

I recall that Craftsman saws had those funky open grid extensions, but they probably weren't the only ones. Sorry, not much to go on.

I had a Craftsman contractor with open grid extensions but they were different from those. My guess is Harbor Freight.

Dan,

Google 'old harbor freight table saw pics'.

Guess what is shown? Bingo!

If you look closely the motor is off a washing machine or other appliance. My guess is same as everyone else, somewhere in Taiwan a few years back. The saw looks decent and could very well work well. I would look for an enclosed motor for it however. Mike.

I'd guess it's a Geetech saw from mid to late 1980s. Based on the paint color it was probably sold through Sunhill or Reliant.

As others have stated, its a Rockwell/Delta knockoff. I believe Grizzly had something similar.

Rick Potter - could you provide a direct link to the photo you mentioned?

I did go to Google and search on "old harbor freight table saw pics"

There were a few looked very similar to my saw.........but I saw no dead-on pictures.

Thanks for the input.

Don't know how, sorry.

Just went again to 'old harbor freight pictures', clicked on 'show more pictures', and it is in the top row.

Same fence rail, same color, same open grate wings. A few minor differences, but as mentioned above, lots of people put their name on it.
