Been looking around trying to find solid brass hardware for my hard-sided gun case. Not having much luck.

I will need the following items:

1- brass 48" piano hinge
2- brass locking latches (either w/key, combination or that use a small padlock)
8- brass corners
1- leather handle w/ brass mounting hardware

Here's the problem. Most places have 1 or 2 of these items in solid brass (for example Rockler has solid brass piano hinges and corners but does not have a solid brass locking latch. Another place might have the corners but not the hinge or the leather handle w/ brass hardware, etc.)

Does anyone know of a good source for these types of items? Thanks.

Royce, I always look to Lee Valley for these sorts of things. I can't say that they have it because I didn't look for the specific items you mention but they are a good starting point.

I'm not sure you're going to find a solid brass locking latch: brass just isn't strong enough for a mechanism like that. Rockler has some combination latches made for briefcases that look pretty good, but they're plated. (page 110-120 of the current catalog...online probably just search for "briefcase")
