View Full Version : Bevel up or bevel down on ryobi AP1300 planer baldes?

I am trying to replace the blades on my ryobi planer and I forgot if the bevel goes up or down the manual is not very clear. Does any one have the ryobi AP1300 planer and know which way the blades go in? I will post a link to the manual so maybe someone can make more sense of it. I'm not familiar with your planer and can't picture what you mean by up or down. But I guarantee you that the face of the bevel should not be the side that hits the wood.

I believe "bevel down" is the most likely term, but a picture is probably more helpful:
