Here are a couple of early tool box saws by Disston with nice etches and clean blades. I have had the larger #28 for a while and just acquired the #29. I am including a copy of the 1932 Disston listing for these two saws.

A saw like the #28 is handy for use on top of a bench with a bench hook.

The handle hangs too low on the #29 for that kind of work.

Do you use them much?

Larry,

Your saws look to be in great shape. Perfect size for grandkids or kids to use. Also, they look such that they would be great saws for a really compact travel tool box.

Nice saws.
