I know you have been waiting a whole year to find out what I am making for Christmas this year. You guys and gals have the patents of saints. The blanket chest window seat is made of white oak. The dementions are 18 inches deep by 18 inches high by 30 inches wide.

I used my portacable dove tail jeg. I had to do it in two layers because the jeg only does 12 inches.White oak is very hard so I had to go slow because it would chip the dovetails if I went to fast. Also the finished peace is very heavy.

Very nice job on the chest. I thought I was the only person who ever made furniture out of white oak. I'll bet it is heavy.
