I'll be in the lakeport CA. area for a couple of weeks in September. Are there any friendly Neanderthals in the lakeport/ clearlake area up for a meet up? Perhaps a must see bit of wooddorkery?

I'm in the Sacramento area. There are a few clubs in the Northern California area also. Sierra Nevada Fine Furniture Makers Guild, NorCal Turners and SAW to name a couple. Also, Lie Nielsen Toolworks will be at the Crucible September 22nd and 23rd, in Oakland. You may want to look into Sturgeons Mill. They do tours a few times a year.
