Trying to ID a saw I picked over the past weekend....
365596
While I have no doubt this was a long longer at one time..

I haven't found a match for the bolt pattern on the handle...I also had to replce one bolt..

Yep, that bolt. Medallion has an Eagle and is a Warranted Superior.
Might be a nice Tool Box Saw.....at 5-1/2ppi.

Nothing by Disston is a match.....?

Trying to locate that bolt pattern.....not quite a "D-8" pattern....Haven't seen a pattern like this one.

De-rust the saw plate, polish the brasses, and make a new handle out of curly maple and they will look like some of my old saws.:)

My saws are sharp and cut true.

Plate has been derusted, brass is shined up, including the replacement bolt. I REPAIRED the handle. Saw is already quite sharp...might take 10 minutes to freshen the teeth up.

At one time, this might have been a fairly long saw...one day, someone may have kinked it, and decided to remove the kink. Nice little toolbox size now. Might just keep it around.

I have a short saw. It came to me with a pointed end with a broken handle. I cut the point off, made a new handle, and it is a fairly decent saw now.

Aren't panel saw plates about 20" in length?

Have three at 20", one at 24", and a couple at 16" for hauling around in a tool box....
