Minimum width lumber for Makita SP6000J track

I am new to the forum, so I hope this is the right place to pose my question.

I would like to use the Makita SP6000J track saw to cut a straight edge on rough cut lumber. Can anyone tell me the minimum width board I can clamp the saw track to?

Just put another piece of equal thickness behind the one you are cutting. I do it all the time, no problems.
