Had a Walnut board that needed cut down...
365362
Got three pieces altogether, Needed one edge jointed straight..

Towards the end of a 5 hour day...didn't feel like using the #8 Jointer, so..
365364
Stanley No. 6c, T-10 seemed to do ok..
Needed a rebate along an edge or two..
365365
Set up a "plough plane" to do the job
365366
To make it a stopped rebate, I had to use a mallet and chisel....
Busy day today.....:D

Also need to trim about an 1/8" off of a few parts.....Langdon Mitre box did that job with ease, and left a nice square cut, too....was way faster, and better than using the bandsaw...

I cheat and use a power mitre box. Of course, it's the only mitre box I have.

I might knife a line, chisel notch the cut line and hit it with my 16" tenon saw that I made from a Ron Bontz kit.

Thumb and index finger usually is all I need to guide a saw during the cut. Good thing it is the LEFT thumb I use....
