I'm looking to purchase a 12" 40T 1/8" kerf Forrest Woodworker II as a general purpose blade for my new MM CU300. It only comes in a 1" arbor, the CU300 is 5/8" (typo, was 5/6, should be 5/8").

Are all bushing made 'equal enough', for example will these Vermont Americans (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003FGPZVU/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A13H5QHGBAEUYH&psc=1) work OK?

They don't specify the width of the arbor, but I am hopeful it will work on a 1/8" blade. There is some risk that they are too thick...

Cheers,

Are you sure you don't have room between the Arbor Flanges.I had the same concern with my tablesaw I have a 3/4 inch abor and use the same bushing with a thin and full kerf balde.
I also have a 12 woodworker 2 that was bored 3/4 perfectly by Forrest. My favorite blade hands down.

Andrew, I haven't gotten through the setup far enough to inspect the flanges. If they are flat you'd want the bushing the same thickness or slightly less the the blade. If they are cupped, ideally the bushing would be thicker. Not too thick to prevent grabbing the blade, but not so thin that the bushing could slide out of the arbor hole,...

I'm possibly overthinking it.

Forrest can likely provide the bushing for you. I know that Ridge Carbide has them bushings, too.

Cheers,

that's the blade on my CU300. 5/8 and no adaptor.
I'd call them again.

Thanks Mike, I rechecked Forrest's website and sure enough, at the bottom of the page it has a 5/8" version. In my weak defense, the blades on Forest's website (http://www.forrestblades.com/woodworker-2-all-purpose-saw-blade-for-table-saws/) are numerically sorted by diameter, then there is one lone 12" * 5/8 listed after the 16" blade.

Problem solved, no arbor needed.

For reference, On my CU300 I used a bushing from a set I got at Harbor Freight.
