Patterned after Roy Underhill's Rachel's Standing Desk on the Woodwright's Shop episodes. Instead of Pine, I used a few other types of lumber

hand cut dovetails. reddish wood is Cherry, the rest is Curly Maple..

tried to get some of the grain to line up. bead details done with a stanley no. 45 legs have been pinned.

Pastor was at church today,,,,,,LOVED the desk!:D:D:D And said he WILL be using it to teach from. Highly pleased!

There was a little box inside the desk, to be deliver to his assistant pastor. Seems they both like to have a stash for candy....:rolleyes:
