I recently discovered these, and most probably already know about them, but a million and one uses:

I got my first ones at the local Woodcraft, but buy direct now. Only connection with them is as a satisfied customer and don't know how I lived without them for so long...

Those are great. Amazon also has them (and Prime), most are the same price but the 95 is reduced for now.

Some years ago, I took the switchable magnet bases off some wrecked dial indicators that came in a lot I picked up at an auction. They aren't 1/10 as strong, but they gave me a lot of good ideas and I ended up with some of the good ones like you have discovered. I second your glowing endorsement!

I have neodymium magnets with hooks stuck all over the fronts of all my big tools and use the heck out of them. They hold an astounding amount of weight.

The price of praseodymium-neodymium has escalated 43% year to date. If one likes these magnets, perhaps they should be acquired quickly!
