Hi guys,

Do any of you produce a PDF catalogue of your products that you then put onto a USB stick for customers?

I am after the best/recomended way to do this so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

I have had a quick look and realise that there is s/w out there that can do this but am after recomendations if at all possible.

I will of course also be engraving the usb sticks with our website.

Thanks in advance,

Graham

Most graphics software will allow you to publish the file you are working on as a pdf. While publishing, review the settings to make sure that your program embeds the fonts used in the document.

If I were going to do this sort of thing, I'd just keep a sample of every job in a series of folders by type, then use a script to pull them in, appropriately formatted in a .pdf, and regenerate the .pdf whenever there was a new sample.

If you're interested, provide a sample file structure and some sample graphics and I'll work up a sample.

careful if you use DXF or DWG Graham....they are saved Raw in PDF and can be extracted easily
