General International 13" planer

Does anyone know where I can get replacement blades. The unit I have is the helical head, 14mm blades, two sided. Believe it or not General says they are out of blades and they will not be available till NEXT year! So I guess I just put the planer away? Help. Thanks

You could try these guys. I've dealt with Global several times and they seem very good. I have not bought from mywoodcutters

Dan, try cutechtool.com. They sell the Cutech planers (and cutters) which look to me to be the same as General International. I have a Cutech 13" and just measured one of my cutters. It is, in fact, 14mm. Email sales@cutechtools.com.
