Quick-easy waterproof options?

I'm sure there isn't a solution to my problem; but I figured it can't hurt to ask!

I have a bit of a childish project this weekend to tackle: I'm trying to make a stand for an block, essentially to use it as an ice luge for our annual cookout...


I plan on using some scrap plywood I have laying around: but wasn't sure if there's a quick-curing waterproof option for me?

Polyester or epoxy fibreglass resin. Just apply it without the fibreglass. Use it to glue your joints during construction as well. Cheers
