Cherry Burl Gloar

Here is a cherry burl that I got from a logger friend of mine. As you can see, this was a very large cherry burl and was completely on one side of the tree trunk. One piece is 4 1/2" thick the other is 6 1/2" thick (burl cap). Can't wait to see what this will look like once I get it turned.

I was expecting to see a "Cherry Burl Gloar"... as I've never seen one before!!

Barry, as I use to tell the kids when I was teaching, "Just wanted to see who was really paying attention." :-D
I tried to correct that but for some odd reason it didn't get corrected.
