Hello All,
Wondering if anyone has added the variable speed motor to their W&H Molder! I purchased the motor and controller. The motor has a proprietary cord that plugs into their controller box. The controller is labeled 220 V and has a green, white and black wire. With it being 220 V my guess is that white and black would be hot wires. If you have added the feed motor - how did you wire it? It would appear the easiest thing to do is run these wires to the ON/OFF box with the magnetic starter for the main motor. That starter has a L1 and a 5L3 connection terminal that connect to the 220 V power cord. It seems I would connect a hot wire to each of these terminals. I can than connect the green wire to the grounding box in the Starter Junction box.
Does this make sense? How did you wire your feed motor controller?
Thanks,
Greg
