The Performax 22-44 drum sander is a real work horse as far as I'm concerned. I use it guite a bit for panel sanding at 120 grit.

My aircraft carrier, I mean jointer is Grizzly's model 0543 (8 inch X 75 inch) with a spiral cutter head. Smooth and quiet. I am very happy with this unit.
